Crown Meadow First School & Nursery is situated in the village of Alvechurch, Southwest of Birmingham, and about six kilometres north of Redditch. This is a Community Maintained school for children between the ages of 3 and 9. It serves the village and its surrounding area. There are 257 children on roll, with approximately 60 admitted every year.

The school comprises of one Nursery Class, four classes of Reception & Year one, and five classes of children from Years two, three and four. The school has three playgrounds, one for each Key Stage, and we share an on-site playing field with Alvechurch C of E Middle School.
