WOW, what an eventful half term we have had. Our learning has been fantastic, and we have really enjoyed learning all about chocolate. Not only have we visited Cadbury World, but we have also made chocolate cakes in school to help us with our instructional writing. In DT we have designed our own chocolate product and packaging and we hope to make them at home to see what they taste like.
In maths, we have been using our place value knowledge to help us with our addition and subtraction, we have even learnt column method! It hasn't always been easy, but we have persevered and practiced every day.
As we are approaching Young Voices, we have made sure we have been practicing lots and lots to ensure we know all of the words and the dances. We can't wait to go.
On the run up to Christmas, we have made sure our classrooms are looking festive, we've been singing lots of Christmas songs and making decorations. We can't wait for Father Christmas to visit us as we have all been so good.
Everybody is looking forward to breaking up and spending quality time with their families and all the teachers will be excited to see the children in January, ready to start our new topic on the Romans.
