There's No Such Thing As A....
This half term we have been learning all about signs of winter, woodland creatures, festivals like Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day and we have also been really enjoying our learning about the Gruffalo. The children have been amazing!
We have used our communication and language to retell the story by Julia Donaldson, we have acted out the story during role play, made actions to the story to help us familiarise ourselves with the text and we have discussed all of the different characters.
As a result of their excellent learning attitudes, the children have produced some fabulous art, writing and reading skills.
The children have had lots of fun learning The Gruffalo Song and performing the actions.
During our Forest School sessions the children have been creating their own terrible creatures, inspired by The Gruffalo.
The children have all done so well with their learning, we are very proud teachers. Their phonics has been nothing short of brilliant and their characteristics of learning have all been very positive.
