As part of our spelling programme, the children will focus on and practise words using a new spelling rule every week. The children will then be tested on six of these words before starting the next unit. Spelling tests will take place on a Friday. Please find below, the spelling rule and words that we will be practising.

Please note that if your child is finding the main spelling list very challenging each week, you can continue to practice the words on the alternative list with your child. Please ask your child to tell their class teacher which words they have been practicing ready for Friday's test.
