Pre-worn uniform is available for a small donation from the school office and during Friday Coffee Mornings.
Uniform
The children are expected to wear school uniform as we believe it shares the positive values that are part of the school ethos and helps children to feel part of the school.
School has a duty to make sure that the uniform required is affordable, in line with statutory guidance. As such, we do advocate the wearing of Crown Meadow polo shirt, cardigan or jumper featuring our school logo, however plain cardigans or jumpers in the same shade of red are also acceptable.
Our school uniform colours are red, white and grey:
- Crown Meadow red sweatshirt/cardigan
- Grey trousers/shorts/skirt/pinafore
- Red polo-shirt
- Red and white dress in summer
- Shoes suitable for school, not trainers please or open toed sandals in the summer
For PE lessons your child will need:
- Black shorts
- Plain white T-shirt
- Trainers with velcro straps if children cannot tie laces
- Black track suits may be used in the winter months
- A named pump bag to keep the items in on your child's peg

Jewellery/Accessories
The only jewellery to be worn in school are studs in the ears. Other jewellery must not be worn in school due to the danger of accident or loss. No other valuable items should be brought into school.
N.B. If stud earrings are worn to school children need to be able to remove them themselves for PE lessons, or preferably not wear them to school that day. If a child has newly pierced ears or are too young to remove their earrings please provide them with plasters/micropore tape to cover their earrings with during P.E.
A simple watch or Fitbit style devise may be worn, however any smart watch or device which includes photographic capabilities may not be worn.
Headscarves/hijab may be worn for religious reasons, but only in our school colours of black, grey or red.
Daily book bags
Book bags featuring our school logo are preferred, however, plain red book bags are acceptable. We discourage children from bringing larger bags such as rucksacks as cloakroom space is very limited.
