IMPORTANT NOTICE
Following recent feedback from parents/carers regarding the difficulty of spellings, we have decided to review the spellings that we are sending home. In order to meet the needs of the children, the main spellings sent home each week will feature words taken from the Year 2 common exception word list. There will also only be 6 spellings, instead of 10. If your child usually learns spellings from the alternative spelling list, this will still be uploaded onto the website for your child to learn. Finally, if you would like your child to learn some challenge spellings, this will be uploaded as a separate list, however please note this is entirely optional. The only compulsory spellings will be the main common exception words.
