As this is the last week of the half term, we will be spending the week reviewing the spelling of the Year 1 and 2 Common Exception words. These are words which are revisited regularly throughout the year, as the expectation is that children can spell these words before they leave Key Stage 1.
Therefore, instead of the usual 6 word spellings at the end of the week, we will be testing your child on a range of these words throughout the week to see how much they have retained. Please practice a range of these words with your child at home during the week.
